Just looked on the Asda website and they are launching Persil 2in1 powder with Comfort Passion Flower/Sunshiney Days.

quite strange to have a 2in1 Persil Product, as they took the persil with freshness of comfort off the market, as it wasn't successful.
 
It's in Sainsbury's too - they also have Small & Mighty liquid versions of it.

Weirdly, the powder is biological but the liquid isn't. Makes no sense whatsoever!

Do you think that's a typo on Sainsbury's website? I have just got back from our Sansbury's, no sign of Persil 2in1 on the shelves at all.
 
I thought that it might be a typo, but they also have the ingredients list which shows enzymes in the powder version and none in the liquid.

France has had Skip 2in1 for a while, so I looked up the ingredients list on Unilever's French site and sure enough the liquid has no enzymes but the powder contains Protease, so it's not got as many enzymes as regular Persil bio/colour has.

Surely this stuff won't clean as well as normal Persil, or are they just going for softness over cleaning?

I'm surprised Unilever haven't made Surf into a 2in1, rather than Persil, seeing as Surf is all about fragrances more than cleaning these days, like Bold 2in1 is.
 
I’ve managed to pick a box of each up today in Sainsbury’s for a fiver! I must admit they smell lush the liquid is non-bio and the powder is bio I don’t understand the logic in it, I prefer the smell of the passion flower powder to the sunshiney days powder.

Persil 2 in 1-Disappointment

Well I’ve done a few loads with both powders and to be honest the laundry coming out of the machine doesn’t smell of anything, very much a let-down to be honest smells nice in the boxers no smell left on laundry! Back to Ariel bio with fabreeze I go !

I got a bottle of the passion flower liquid today, just to give it a whirl. You can also get capsules of both "flavours" too.

There's also a couple of new Comfort conditioners out. Bright Whites and Bright Colours. Both are a lilac colour liquid and smell quite nice too. The Bright Whites one claims to enhance whiteness and the Bright Colours one claims to stop fading, colour runs, etc. They've also brought back the Tempting Nature green Comfort, but it's now called Rainforest Green!
 
Just done a wash, and the clothes still reeked of the stuff when I took them out of the machine. Maybe it's just the powder that doesn't leave any scent?

The liquid seems a lot thicker than normal Persil S&M too. Cleaning seems pretty good and the clothes do feel quite soft (more than I was expecting them too anyway).
