Will focus on TVs instead.

1953 Philco 17 inch table top television, model 53-T1827. Classic 50's atomic-age style.

This TV is not working, but has all the parts and is in great aesthetic shape. The back panel is included, I just forget to get it in a picture, but it's the original panel. It should be a fun restoration, but even without restoration, its a gorgeous piece of American history. Made in Philadelphia, USA this set is a classic that's almost impossible to find.

This 1953 Philco TV has the Dealer installed UHF Adaptor UT-21 43-6475, which is uncommon.

In April 1952, The US government approved the addition of UHF channels for television broadcast. As a result, Philco built all early 1953 televisions with the ability to integrate an add on UHF tuner available for purchase from an authorized Philco dealer. Since it took a while for broadcasters to adopt the new channels, not many of the early 1953 models had them installed. Around September 1953, all models being built by Philco included the UHF tuners as standard equipment.

This television could easily have been used to watch the first appearance of Elvis on the Ed Sullivan Show in September 1956.

I have not been able to find another one like it anywhere.

Predictas are notorious for overheating.  It's likely a capacitor issue that's to blame on all three posted above.   People who restore them usually rig up something like a small CPU fan to cool them down.
