Philco side by side stove St.Clair Shores

Rarely ever see a Philco stove. This ones at a St.Clair Shores estate sale this Thursday... Kevin you ought to stop and pick it up for your collection  LOL

And a nice Frigidaire at another sale... I wished I had room/cutout in our kitchen for something as nice as these

I only see one oven control on the Philco.  It's beautiful though.  I presume the Frigidaire is a single oven as well, with French doors. 

 

I think I'd rather have the standard type of oven door in case anything decided to drip or spill when the rack was pulled out, but I can see how French doors could resolve issues with space limitations in smaller kitchens.

55 Frigidaire!

That is NOT a french door model, it is a 40 inch, I cant see the controls well enough to tell if its a single or double oven, the french doors were used only on wall ovens and 30 inch ranges.

The Philco was probably kept well polished with Jubilee

Oohh, that Philco is very tempting! I may go by on my lunch hour on Friday and take a look....if I come home with another stove I may end up in divorce court! Guess I have to decide which I love more ;-)
