We had a Hotpoint ( Ariston ) W/D that lasted two years....it was awful....the cabinet dented when I moved it to clean, it was noisy as hell and took forever to balance to spin. I always had to select extra rinse and select the longest wash to get passable results. Thank god the pcb went after 2 years!!!

If I could turn back I probably choose a washer from the Electrolux group or a Miele.. Hotpont Ariston...never more!!

And I hope that my Philcos will live for years and years..Nowdays anyone build washer like that...

I have a Miele W1613 now but if have fond memories of the indesit L5 and L8 owned by family members when I was growing up.!! ps feel free to email.
