Hey Les

Great Pictures! I just want to say it was great meeting you, and I had a blast watching and chatting about washers late into the night!

Les, it was great meeting you this past weekend. Thanks for sharing those great pictures with us.

heeyyy.... very nice pics and washers, but i'd be so glad if you make videos of the Whirlpool combo working and the Thor with the wash plate
thank you very much!

Kevin and Les thank you both so much for taking and posting such fabulous pictures! I had the camera out and I think we took maybe one picture lol, of course we were busy to say the least.

We also wanted to thank everyone that came to the wash in, both the locals and those who came from far away via plane or car. And a big thank you goes out to Terry, Greg and Jon Charles who were a huge help in putting this all together, we couldn't have done it without you guys.

So out of curiosity, was there anything about any of the washers or vacuums that really surprised you? Something that anyone imagined that was totally different when you actually got to see it in action in person??? Any particular favorites?

Great Pictures Les!

Les thanks so much for uploading your pictures!
Everything looks so nice and showroom new!
I bet the basement smelled so nice with all of these machines running!

Great Pics

Les:
Thanks for posting these great pics. I know everyone had a blast. Wish I could have been there. I'm looking forward to seeing you in Atlanta Memorial Day Weekend.

I had many surprises at the Wash In. Yes the Apex

surprised me entirely. I didn't expect it to be a solid machine I expected a contraption that tried to compete and was relegated to the dust bin of technology because it was a contraption. It is far from that, so it must have been a colossal failure of Apex' Marketing department that led to its demise. Bojack marketing I say!

AND I didn't expect the GE to be SOOO different from the filter flos that it was in a whole new ball park!

But what really got in my head was our discussion of all the code you wrote for the Super Unimatic now thats fascinating to say the least Minerva!

Les, your pix are fabulous beyond words--the checkerboard of

The washer part of my heart lives and beats for close-ups of both washer action and control panels. You really did it up grand for both. The spray rinse and the color patterns in the Hotpoint are to die for as are the close-ups of the WP Combo jet-washing--I love it!

Had no idea the 58 Uni had a cool rinse. Amazing. Starting to understand why so many members are nuts for this machine.

Your collage has to be an Aworg original. Have scrolled up and down a dozen times, dizzy with the delight.

And that shot of the 47 GE, so white, so deep, so much good metal, and the silver rocker in the middle--I don't know what to say. Almost as if I'd been there, my nose pressed up against every thing. Thank you.

The biggest surprise for me

was also the Apex. Like Jon, I never thought that the machine would be of the quality it is. Also was surprised by the wash action, fantastic roll-over. Another big surprise was the spin. I believe Robert said it is just a bit over 600 rpm.. but wow do the clothes ever come out of there dry. Much drier than other machines of the same speed. Last of all was the tub!! It looks just like a giant jello mold!!
