High Rollin'

It is fun to watch the Maytag with the silver filter wash away with water sloshing back and forth and over the top of the agitator. Kind of like a scene from the Titanic.

Hi Gansky, the only thing I had to do to it was repaint it and put on new casters,oh and I ordered new maytag crest stickers for it too. You have to be real careful with those water decals. One wrong slip and its screwed. Thanks.Don

too coincidental to be true, but it is

You're not gonna believe this, but I've been in Lauderdale and Pompano for the past two weeks and on Federal Highway # 1 at Abbott Appliances, they have your exact Easy copper wringer washer on display just as you enter the store. Under the lid, as you well know, is a shocking and fabulous washer arm.

Drooling, I asked the wary Asian attendant--he was alone--to plug in the machine for me to see what the action was like. He said, "No plugee machineee! No plugee machineee!--you go home." Bandannaed, wife-beatered, and riding a cheap, rickety, rented bike, I think I scared him.

What's the action like? Could you show it or at least a pic of the wash arm so members could so how unusual and large it is?

Thank you--great stufff !!

Funny how language works: always pictured you as an old washer guy, when in fact you're really a clearly-not-old guy who likes old washers.

I'll take a picture of the inside of the easy soon. In south carolina,it is easier to find these ancient wringers than it is to find a 1950s automatic. I have not seen one since the 1970s. But i'm not giving up.

Hi Robert

The 3 cup agitators came later, I think, like Greg M's 40's spinner. Don's was made some time in the 20's like the one in Pompano which i just said good bye to yesterday. Identical machines. They have a wash arm. You must have overlooked me.

Hi Robert, yes the easy has the three stainless steel cups attatched to an umbrella looking apparatas. The machine works good but the drain valve leaks a little. you have to put a bucket under it. when I get a nice camera i will make some videos. Don
