Pillow cases: how often do you wash 'em?

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support AutomaticWasher.org:

OMG, you guys are making me feel like a slob! ;-)

I try to change the sheets every Saturday morning, if I think about it. I just have a bunch of crappy old colored sheets, and I like to mix and match to see what I come up with.

Since there is usually (at a minimum) a fat cranky old Siamese, a territorial Dachshund, and a nutcase Pomeranian in bed with me (hmmm, and I wonder why I'm still single? ;-) , I should probably change them more often, but that would be too organized on my part.

As for pillows, I keep them and the comforter in the closet in the daytime and make the bed up with a cool old fake fur leopard bedspread I found at a thrift shop. I don't know what it's made of, but I can wash that thing in hot water with bleach and it doesn't bat an eye. Love that spread.

Thanks Steve

Actually she doesn't pee on the comforter, she has thrown up a few times on it though. When i see that it makes me want to toss my cookies also. What we put up with for the love of our four footed friends.

Unconditonal love does make the world go round.

Instructions:

For use daily. Apply thoroughly and frequently, repeat.

Also works exceptionally well also when applied to others, not only to our issue (offspring).

A little more about true love

I know this is getting a little off topic, but speaking of love i find great comfort in this passage:

4Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
1 corinthians 13:4-7.

It was on my heart to share that, have a great day all of Applianceville!

GNOSIS EAUTON "Know Thyself"

It is impossible to love someone else unless you love yourself. uncondtionally.

G-d, Allah, Buddah, the universe, mother nature, (you fill it in) Don't make junk.

LIVE, LOVE , LAUGH and be good to yourself first then to others. All the rest follows.

:-)

Walk right over to the mirror NOW and say:

I undconditionally love myself with all my faults and goodness.

Toggle thanks you. LOL

Stubborn beagle....need I say more?
The other day, my daughter did't eat more than 4 bites of a 6"
Subway Tuna sandwich. The dog got the rest. Guess where he decided to throw it up (the first time)? Under my bed. Gross!
Luckily, the second time, we made it outside. At least it wasn't on the bed!

I used to have a very loving and devoted tuxedo cat who slept in my bed with me. Of course, one morning when I was about seventeen I woke up in a bed full of cat vomit.

My mom has a rambunctious LhasaPoo (half Lhasa Apso, half poodle) that had an "accident" on her unguarded bed. In her words, "It clawed the quilt up in a ball and it p!$$ed on the ball!"

Tuxedo cat?

Hi spiralactivator,
I live in the UK and have never heard of a tuxedo cat, is that a breed unique to the USA?
I love cats and I have one that sleeps in bed with me and yes there has been a cat vomit incident (Hair ball) but poor Tiger could not help it, anyway thats what washers are for.
Regards.

Hello, Hugh-

Welcome again to Applianceville.

"Tuxedo cat" is just slang for any black and white cat. I first heard of the term years and years ago when my Mother read T.S. Eliot's "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats" to my sister and me. Later, it was adapted by A.L. Webber into "CATS."

Lawrence/Maytagbear

(My current cat is an orange and white tabby.)

My little girl is a "Tuxedo cat" This one follows me around like a dog and has to give me a greeting when i come home from work every morning. Loves to sleep on my bed or on my chest when i am trying to sleep LOL.

Love them ferrets too.

Pat

Hi Lawrence & Pat,
Thanks for your reply. I had thought it could have been a term used to describe a black and white cat but I was not sure as this is the first time I have heard Tuxedo cat used. Well I love cats of all types so any Tuxedo cat would be welcome in my home vomit and all LOL.
Regards.
Hugh
