Pin left over: Whirlpool LNS1000LW0 2012?

First Post: Trying my hand at repairing my first washer. I installed a Neutral Gear Pack, replaced the oil and clutch. I also replaced the Motor coupling. As I held the pump out of the way it slipped and I heard something hit the floor. The photo below is what I found on the floor. I wondered if someone might tell me where it goes?

It's an anchor pin left from the shipping strap.  There normally are three(?) that drop into retainer cups affixed to the base pedestal when the strap is pulled, just so they don't fall on the floor.  Trash it ... or keep it if you can figure some use for it on a future DIY project.

That was a pin for shipping the machine from the factory. There are 3 of them that fall into little cups when the shipping strap is removed. They are no longer necessary.
