We have a set of Frigidaire appliances some of which are about to "retire". They are all 1963 vintage and pink color - which was wife's requirement when we set-up our original home. The immediate available item is the washer, which has been drooling oil from the transmission for some time. However, it has been getting very noisy and should be repaired or replaced. Our fixer says that he knows what parts are needed but also that he has thrown them out since there was no call for them in his business. All our units were made by Frigidaire/GM Canada and gave great service over the years to present. The washer is a model noted on the inside of the lid is "WDAC-63 WDARC63". Wiuld there be any collertor interest in this washer ?
My parents have a 1939 Westinghouse refrigerator still stashed in their basement. Is it of any collector interest ?
We live up north of Minneapolis in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. My contact details are:

Yes, this washer/set should be saved.

But I'm confused. The first message says it's a '63 three ring washer.

The picture though shows one of those hard plastic jet-action agitators, not a three ring.

Am I wrong or missing something here?

Like so many others----the original "three-ring" has been discarded in favor of a "jet-cone". At least the larger tub of this model could accomodate it decently.

This was considered "common practice" back in the day (and was reccomended by the factory, who no doubt, was glad to hear less grumbling about clothes tangeling) and even many Unimatics and Multimatics had servicemen convert their original pulsators to "jetcones". Looks kind of funny to see a "jetcone" in a Unimatic. The tub appears way too small for it.

Bob, my thoughts exactly; 2 days left and whoever is close had better GET BUSY, even if they don't want it!!! We all know there's a shortage of pink Frigidaire washers...

Also, has anyone else noticed that in this particular Deep-Action agitator, the lint ejector slots are wider than most?
