Pink GE set in Syracuse NY

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Man how I wish I could afford these. A 57 GE is such a rare model anyway but in PINK!. I loved how GE put the timers on the left side on just this one model year. Sure hope someone here gets these beauties and invites me to the wash-in!

Whoever spends over $3000 for these please adopt me. I like my toys, but I think this is a bit ridicilous.

Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmmm

Wonder what the final bid will be????
Wonder who will get really pissed of when they DON'T win the bid?????
Wonder what it'll take to get them running ??????
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....Life IS a WONDER!!!

Poker face -

Or a "sniper face" I would imagine.

Bidding against yourself is an exercise in futility - all the action will be in the last 20 seconds of the auction anyway.

Oh my.

Why does $4700.00 roughly come to mind.

This is surely one happy Auctioneer. Whom we should be grateful to for having an open eye to these special machines. Some people would look at these and wrinkle their forehead and throw them out because "they aren't stainless steel" blah, blah.
I hope it is one of our members bidding and will share them once they get them. begging like a puppy.

LOL, wouldn't it be crude and perhaps too real if it was actually a wealthy person who already has this set in white and just wants the control panels because theirs is degraded. So at any price they are looking for parts. lol. they'll have them shipped, take off the panels(or their servants will remove them, sorry) and the rest will be scraped. lol.

That's mean. We need to think positive that they will get a nice new home where they can frolic and play with other machines of similar vintage.

OH, this one is fun. Rember about a year and 1/2 ago, the Kenmore's that went for 3500? The Frigidaire Rollermatics that went for 3000? This is NOT unreasonable folks.

HUM, could only WHO? AND, be real glad when WHO gets them.

Steve

Hmm...

and I thought it was bad of me to buy and go pick up that Westinghouse set in MI the other week.

BTW, does anyone have a xylophone that I can put in it? I'll post pics whenever Chris comes over and helps me get them ready.

Um Yeah, I've never seen that partially convenient calculator before but, whatever.

Travis, you could try listing yourself on Ebay to see if there is any takers.
What's the most you think you would get.
Maybe 50 bucks?

I think Ebay has prohibitions on listing people ...
though,
I don't WHAT their ISSUE is. (shaking head back and forth)

AHH! list yourself AND your toys. Bingo.
see, there, it's a complete package-deal.
And, maybe you would get much more. Perhaps in the $150 plus category.
Maybe put the TOYS upfront and mention in small print that YOUR included. At least this way your more likely to sell.
...slip by the ebay sensors and what not. SHH..

I am not selling myself on Ebay, thank you very much. :-)

I guess I should hope that ebay and some of these bidders are around when the benefactor of my estate is trying to get out from under it.
