Pink Maytag Wringer NEVER BEEN USED (Overpriced of course)

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Hello Luv!

Was thinking about you the other day; good to see a posting from you.

Yes, that Maytag has been sat sitting for months now, and likely will continue to do so for that asking price.

Quite honestly am a bit leery if NIB Maytag wringer washers now that one owns such a thing. I mean how long was it sitting with no water? If the seals dried out then that could be very much that. They'll need to be replaced or water will go where it shouldn't and soon that nice new machine will have problems. Well perhaps not "soon" but water leaking into the power unit....

New Pink MT WW

$2500.00 Is probably about what the machine cost originally in the early 60s when it was built when adjusted for inflation, so the price is not that unreasonable, and has anyone tried offering the seller say $1200.00 ?

There are only two critical water seals in a MT WW and neither are the type that need water on them to last longer, in fact water and detergent only deteriorates them, I would much rather have an unused WW than one that was lightly used.

"Streets ahead" Luv it

Maybe a Cubs fan won a ton on a Series bet, and grabbed that baby lickety-split.
