I think that they confused the meat thermometer scale with a radio dial. If GE was still using airplane names in the rocket age, this would have been a Liberator since it has two ovens, both of which are very clean for a stove that is about 38 years old. It is just more proof that there are quite a few electric stoves in California.

38 years old? I was thinking it was older. I guess that makes me only 30 then - yay!

That 59 model that I picked up had a windowed oven door, I wonder if that was an option or the difference between 58 and 59 models. When did GE switch to the square-face clock from the round like in my 57?

If someone wants this stove, and is willing to arrange for and pay for shipping, I could contact the other party and see if it's still available. I'm well enough now that with some help I could transport the stove... not that I need another one, lol.

But I'm really hoping that some collector in the area (Marin County) will step in and claim this one directly.
