Pretty Whirlpool. Colors seem pretty rare in ironer species. Ad states it's only for a prop or "accent" purpose. Nah. Plug it in!

Amoung others had models offered in pink. Indeed during the 1950's most every appliance, car and other consumer goods from fashions to home decorating had something in the colour. Pink was sort of the signature colour of the decade just as "full figured" women such as Marilyn Monroe, Mamie VanDoren, Jane Mansfield, etc were the ideal feminine form.
It was not uncommon to find kitchens, bathrooms, powder rooms, and bedrooms done mostly or entirely in pink. Kind of makes one wonder what His Nibbs had to say....
There were even pink dogs! *LOL* Mainly poodles with their hair dyed.

When I was 4 I got to choose that the bathroom should be painted pink. I don't know why my parents allowed that, but it was in the 50s. Who in the hell lets their 4 year old decide that the bathroom should be painted pink?
