Actually, it was the phrase, "...having an open shower in that laundryroom..." that woke me up. I'm not really into gold, myself. Don't mind if other people are, though.

that don't impress me much!

Kevin........Kevin.........KEVIN!........don't make me come out there and smack the fake color out of your goatee!......lol

besides, if this went to DL, you would not have anything to read....and there goes your cheap thrill!

don't get me wrong, we think your ALRIGHT, but that ain't keepin no one warm on a cold lonely night!.....lol

but to clarify....it IS part of the laundry room....not seperate....

and it will be the end of June....hot, hazy, an humid...what better way to cool off that a refreshing shower...

Fake colour???? Revvinkevin...

Does it work? Everything I've tried either does NOTHING or makes me break out.... My beard started going white way ahead of anything else. G'ma told me it was a family curse: All the men who keep their hair go white really young...

Back on topic:

What's the function of the shower curtain?

Turnamat's comment made me wonder. How many countries do we have represented here? Does anyone know? I've seen Germany, Ireland, England, Italy, and Australia. Any others?

Cool!I knew I missed a few countries but didn't think I'd missed that many. Anyone from Poland?

I'd love to attend a wash-in in another country. I've been wrapping up many loose ends in my life lately and with that wanderlust is setting in....

Alert! Topic drift

Quite a variety of languages represented. I'm impressed. I taught ESL/EFL for years and have studied or lived immersed in a number of other languages and would rather have any of those than have to learn English as a new language.

Yes, I know: "English is easy. It's just French smooshed on top of German." While that's true, that only helps if your first language is a Germanic one.

It's unfortunate travel is so expensive and time-consuming. It'd be fun to attend wash-ins in other countries. 40 years ago we were all told that by now we'd have left supersonic jets behind and would be flying in hypersonic planes that would take us from New York to London in an hour. I'm still waiting, lol.

Would LOVE to come...

But alas - don't know a soul in the area... Let alone anyone attending! It's a 3 hour drive - easy to do... Perhaps next time...

PLEASE though folks - I NEED to see pics - and pics of ALL happenings please!! ;-)

Wash-in

Steve- I wish I would have known you wanted to go we could have shared a ride! I live in Mansfield and we could have gone together but it is too late for me to make arrangements now. Maybe next time. E-mail me if you get a chance. Jeb

WOW!!!....its been 6 months since Jerry posted this event....and now its here!....can't wait, only a few days to go!

WHEW!!!

I've just sent off my co-op application docs to my attorney for review. Harder than it sounds as despite my best efforts, some of it got carted off to 2 different storage units...ggrrrrrrrrrr. I need to pick up a few things from my CPA and my job this week, but other than that I think I'm done! It's time to relax....at least until everyone has gone through it all and lined up a million questions for me, lol.

Can't wait for the weekend!

Jim

I´ll be back to Minneapolis/St.Paul next year for about a week!Maybe I can see some toploaders wash then!
