I scored a nice vintage Avocado green Hoover set. TT and dryer!
I had a set brand new many years ago. Been looking for a while. Hopefully the Shiply carrier comes thru. (Thank you for the recommend on them.)
I have read all the posts etc regarding Hoovers and do not see anything recent.
I am hoping Laundress can help me.
I remember having some trouble with the dryer drum pads. Any recommendations for replacements? and the glue?
Ok and of course belts. For the TT and the dryer.
Again, I have looked at all the posts and come up with a blank for anything recent! Thanks to all!

"Shiply" driver never showed up to pick these up. Seller is on vacation until 11/17 UGH! Have to place ad again. Waiting for new quotes. I knew it was to good to be true. Seller is anxious, as am I!

So now I get some responses for transport service and my seller is away on vacation until 11/17. One happens to be passing thru her town. OMG!!!!!!

Paul,

I feel your pain. There have been four separate occasions in the past when I've had to rely on the cousin of a friend of a customer sort of relationship to get a part. Shipping, especially right now, is fraught with awfulness.

However - there are always young people moving from point a to point b. Have you considered any of the community college/university bulletin board services? Every school has several. It may take a few tries, but there's always an internal network for services needed, services offered. You might find some folks willing to do it for money that way.

Found a new shipper with good reviews at a decent price. Hopefully this works out. I am so upset! Good thing the seller is patient and not in a hurry! After all this I hope I can get the set working. Thanks everyone! I will keep you updated!
