I remember using these for rugs in the coin laundromat with all Westinghouse equipment, even a few of their dry cleaners, in the strip of stores that opened behind Ansley Mall near the IHOP on Piedmont Road in Atlanta just south of Monroe Drive. I think it was called Ansley Plaza. I don't know who made this machine for Westinghouse but, needless to say, they were bolt downs. The window in the door was plastic. I think the three vane drum was the same design used in the washer-dryer combination and, naturally, the dry cleaner. I was able to compare the drums since the dry cleaners were present, if locked.

Yep, these were good working machines for heavy rugs and such. I remember a laundromat that had mostly Westinghouse top loaders and a row of these machines too. It would be interesting to know who actually manufactured this machine. I find it interesting that commercial washers had a reversing drum long long long before it was done with home units. Even the old commercial transfer front loaders from the 40's that you had to use an extractor with reversed direction. It would have made front load machines much better in the 40's and 50's.

I remember my mom going to a Laundromat that had these ~1975:the kick panel would swing down and the pump(mounted to end of motor) and other components could be seen.Another all White-Westinghouse Laundromat at a new strip mall built in '82 had top load westys and two sizes of front load,no 3-belt machines,20 LB the smaller units and some larger that had 3-ph motors and had a nice motor screech going up to spin and they would screech again when motor switched back to tumble speed :) Old Laundromats were good listening for washer gearheads :)
