Why, hello, pretty Lady. Haven't seen you for years. Don't run off----sit down and have a drink with me. I spent many hours loading and unloading you when I was in high school. How fondly I recall the sexy curves and whirling dervish dance of your upper rack; those scintillatingly textured cycle buttons; the warm, intoxicating glow of your panel light; A real tease, you were, Lady K....

My mother in law had this dishwasher when I first married into the family. It was especially quiet for dishwashers of this age. It was always fun to hear the gentle clanking and scrubbing sounds as the upper roto-rack spun around! Toward the end of it's life, this dishwasher forgot when to stop. If you started a load of dishes when you went to bed, it would still be washing when you got up the next morning unless you awoke during the night to stop it!! Very nice machine.

Interesting you should mention that! We had a similar timer problem. It wanted to get stuck on the last rinse cycle. Our machine drained via hose through a hole in the kitchen floor to a standing pipe in the basement. When the hose slipped too far into the standing pipe, water would siphon out during the first wash. But that was our fault, not the machine's.

I Had One

One of the best dishwashers I ever owned. I have been looking for one for 3 years now. I have a perfect spot in the kitchen for a built in. This dishwasher did a great job. Washed & dried fantactic compared to the brand new KA I have now. GREAT DISHWASHER. Michael

I know where there is an Avocado one here in Pensacola that has never washed a load of dishes. It is not MIB, but it is MIC. It is a storage cabinet in the junk hoarders kitchen. She claims it does not work and never has. Yea right.

I could possible get it out of there and replace it with a Maytag belt drive that I have by hoaxing her "Here this one works Mrs. Nellie". Should I try?

Steve
