The lower right side of the ad had a photo of the dishwasher and says "All in heavenly colors, inside and out."  The one in the photograph is pink and the racks are also pink.  Does this mean that the rack colors were coordinated with the exterior color, or was this just coincidental in this example?

Hmmm... That's a good one...

I have a '58 Spin Tube that has the pink racks (it was white but repainted turquoise) and I have a few Frigidaire ads from 58 and 59 which show machines with pink racks, too. I think Phil's 62 (which is pink) has blue racks, but that may have been the colour for that year's production.
