Did GE have their first dryers built by Hamilton too? I know there were others who did that in the beginning.

Yes.  Just like Frigidaire did.

Thought that dryer looked pretty familiar. I guess Hamilton was the first to make automatic dryers. I know the older ones were certainly good and fast. Like everything back then, they were built like tanks! Shame they never made their own washers.
