You Might Want to Edit the Date
Back in the late 70s or so, I contacted the U.S. Testing Laboratory to ask if one of these tests was available for some appliance. I was told that the tests were paid for by the manufacturer and were not available to anyone else. Somehow, that invalidated the whole purpose of mentioning all of that scientific testing data bullshit; not that many people thought to inquire about the testing.

The console reminds me of the speedometer display in a friend's Buick where the adjustable angle of the display was actually a mirror pivoting via a knurled wheel over the actual speedometer which was lying down in the dash.
