not only that, it was matched in the store against their own designs of the PentaVane and PentaSwirl.....
for many years, until the patent expired, it was a Kenmore Exclusive....I think it came under FSP who built for each, in effect, Whirlpool was a competitor....
Kenmore was always one step above Whirlpool when it came to features....I don't think I ever seen Whirlpool with a detergent dispenser out side of the MagicMix....and only Imperial models seen solenoid activated bleach/softener dispensers...
about the closest Whirlpool ever came was their one and only Digital model...and yet still didn't offer the features of the Kenmore Limited....
Kenmore offered a white tub for years before Whirlpool ever put one in theirs...
some people you couldn't convince that underneath, Kenmore and Whirlpool were the same machine.....
