What is the appliance next to the dishwasher the woman and girl are loading? I thought it might be a trash compacter but it appears too wide for that. I don't think 2-drawer dishwashers went "back" that far. Any guesses?

that IS a trash compactor.

It is a 18" Kitchen Aid Trash Compactor.

Very cool machines, very durable, forced air charcol air system. Drop trash in the bin without opening the lower drawer.
