I worked for Sears service in the early 80's. I took care of the service vans.We had a demon for a Manager, but the rest of the people were very friendly, and helpful, worked well together. That's when you called Sears service, you actually got the local Service Center.Had a lot of Sears "Lifers",who had 35-40 years with Sears. It was a good place to work.
Concerning salesmen, anytime I go to buy something major, amd the salesman wont tell me the price, but brings up "You can buy it for XX a month" BS,I walk away. And if a car salesman won't deal, but insist's on getting his mamager involved,I walk away.
