The new pictures of the day have been great Robert!
This one for Waste King is so cool. What year is it from?
Also, at the bottom, Waste King offers it's appliances.
One of there offers is the home incinerator.
When did they stop making home incinerator's? And did they stop because they were bad for pollution?
I remember that a neighbor of ours when I was a kid had one, and he told me that the city told them they could not use it anymore. At the time, I did not know why.

Brent, this was the first dishwasher of my childhood. So, it's about 1959 or 1960, absolutely no later than 1961. They had the same style for a few years. I love the way the ad had htis machine loaded. I tried putting jouice glasses on the tines at the edge of the top rack, but the mother always put them in the rack.

I think household incinerators were discontinued becuase of the increased use of plastics in the home waste stream-home trash burners couldn't burn them properly causing serious air pollution.Plastics such as vinyls emit dangerous gases when burned in household trash burners. Also those gases corrode metals(hydrogen chloride)An apartment building I used to live in had a large Morse and Bolger incinerator. And the workplace I am at now had one and used to use it.Now it has been replaced with a dumpster.
