Note the field titled "3 ways to save Hot Water." It contains the comment about not having to babysit with complicated controls. That could be a dig at Frigidaire's system at the time with the tube that clamps on the end of the drain hose. It had a spring loaded clamp for a rubber ball. It was pulled into position over the end of the hose so that the wash water was held in the outer tub during drain. Then the machine was shut off after the spin and the first load removed. A second load was started and the drain hose was held in position over the tub. The timer dial was set to the desired wash time and started, but immediately stopped and advanced 4 or 5 clicks and restarted so the washer pumped the wash water back into the tub. It was a labor intensive system, but it had none of the extra parts of other sudssaver systems, no suds valves or secondary pumps.
