I suspect the DASH add was based on "Mary Quant" one of the "Icon`s of England" 60`s fashion designer!!!! Mary gave vogue the Geometric haircut or "BoB", her photoshots where often taken by photographer David Bailey...

i THINK the model is Peggy Moffitt. That is her trademark "look" in the Dash ad. (i was a fashion mag junkie in my youth)
