I bartend at the Moose Lodge in Yelm, WA. I went in Friday, not my normal shift, and turned on the pop corn machine to warm up. Woops! I forgot it and let it go for about 20 minutes. The next thing I know it is smokin' like you would not believe! I had to take it outside! Well, to make a long story short, the kettle was taken apart and, low and behold, they couldn't even find the heating element!!!!!!!!1
It was so caked in solid grease that it was not even fisible. It has a limit switch, but, of course, it was so caked in grease that it would not work. It should have cought fire a few years ago. Anyone who has one of these should be aware!
