Thats not real Frigidare poppy some one painted both of these appliances, if you look they even painted the burner bowls and trim rings on the stove top.

I think they're pretty UGLY repainted; the paint seems to be put on awfully think!

They're otherwise nice kitchenware, but they remind me of "Droopy":

Agreed that the paint is horrible.  They not only painted the burner bowls, but also the refrigerator grille and door pedal.  The seller is incorrect, as we all know, about that color being available in the 50's.

 

What year is the fridge?  1960 or so?  I like the extra storage space afforded by the new and improved swing-out shelves.  It appears not to be a "Frost Guard" model though.

Both would have been worth more (than zero) if they were the original colors, I have always liked this range design, not as glitzy as earlier years but still has dignity and grace. My grandmother's cousin, Zepha, had a very similar 40" range and her best friend, Irene, had a 30" version. Irene bought hers new in the mid-70s with a matching refrigerator and the side-by-side Agi-tub washer and compact dryer.

This color looks more like a maroon to me that poppy. Poppy has more orange in it and looks brighter.

If anyone's interested, I picked up a mid 70's Frigidaire 'fridge in Poppy last week. Still on the truck, untested.
