I have a few rust spots on the outside of my washer tub and some rust wear the rubber hoses go into the three spout's on the metal tub.
I know the POR 15 is suppose to be really good. But I came across this product Rust Bullet and went to there website and they compare there product with POR 15.
The Rust Bullet is suppose to be less prep work and it does not require a Top Coat like POR 15 does. The POR 15 Rust Preventive is sensitive to UV light and it will eventually break down if you don't apply the Top Coat over there Rust Preventive. That is what POR 15 say's when they are explaining there product on You Tube.
In my case I could use the POR 15 Rust Preventive without there Top Coat spray paint because I am only using it on the metal washer tub, because the tub will not be exposed to UV light.
After reading all the details on Rust Bullet website,it sounds like a better Rust Preventive to me.I am leaning towards using this product on my tub.
I was just curious is someone might have used both products, and recommend's one over the other.
