Hey everyone.

As I trawl through youtube and speak to other members I come across some really abusive washing machine videos where users seem to literally beat up their machines on service modes or suds locking them deliberatly.

A few I have come across are:

post your links to the worst ones you have seen.

Here is an EXTREMELY over loaded DD Whirlpool...

THE KRUSHER!!

This is what happens if a machine placed on the "kurb" isn't rescued! He has other videos of the poor washer "krushed" several times to the point all that is left is a bent motor!I can't get the link to work-but you can see it and other poor washers and appliances Krushed in trash trucks-by going to the "Classic Refuse Trucks" videos section-then go to "Rapid Assistants" channel.A Hotpoint FL washer is being krushed in a Dennis Phoneix trash truck.

You know most of these video's are so wrong. When I think of the hard economic times we are in, and so many single parent families. It does not take a bit of skin off ones rear end, to put a curb alert up on craigslist. Just my 2 pennies alr2903

Couldnt agree more.

Keep the abuse of this site on let the scum on youtube have the imbeciles.

The person who created this thread really dissapoints me, I thought they were here for the good stuff!

Is this something like the guy who gets turned on by overflowing washers?

I'd give anything to understand the psychology behind that one.

I agree Rob

Why would such a thread be created?

This site is for the enjoyment of machines and the enjoyment of using them properly and the preservation of them if possible. If machines cannot be kept going then they should be recycled in the proper manner where the parts may be of use to others.

The damn right destruction / abuse of machines for no other purpose than so called entertainment should not be on here.

CAN I ASK WHY THE *BEEPING* HELL THIS THREAD WAS POINTLESSLY CREATED, PLUS U WANNA KNOW WHY I ADDED MORE WATER IN MINE

TO WASH BETTER.

END OF THE DAY U DONT LIKE THE VIDEOS OF WASHING MACHINES WITH MODIFIED WATER AND SERVICE CYCLES DONT WATCH THEM, WATCH SOMETHING ELSE.

Guys this has totally gotten out of hand.. I dont think I explained the real reasons as to why I created the topic in the first place... I apologise for this.

I merely started this post as to see what videos you have come across of people abusing their machines, whilst watching innocent youtube videos... you know videos that make you shocked as to why the owner did it etc.

I would never ever do anything like that to one of my machines as you know I have spent a lot of time and investment on doing up my A3110, which is my daily driver and is certainly not being given any punishment and being well looked after.

It really gets my back up to see people destroy things when they are perfectly working be that vacuum cleaner or washing machine. These items could be useful for someone who perhaps cant afford to buy one new etc.

I got the idea to start the thread after reading the thread Hotpointwf220 created about the LG washer he was thinking of getting his parents to buy.

Well again it dissapointed me to watch his videos after the machine which im sure his parents have worked hard to pay for he just seems to make it work beyond its designed means.

Adding a bit of water isnt going to cause any harm but the abuse you put them through and running it in service mode/over filling with detergent to get a suds lock is just torture. I have added extra water to my previous washer to get better wash results but only a bit to aid the movement of the clothes.

If its your own machine then yes but if its your parents then I dont think its very good that you do this.

Again sorry to anyone that thought this was inappropriate for me to have started this thread, I meant no harm and it hasnt been taken the way it was intended to.

REgards
Richard.
