Here are two of my four dogs. Cookie is the black and white one. She is either a Border Collie mix or an Australian Shepherd mix - not sure which. Lady is a pitbull that was abandoned at my clinic nearly 10 years ago.
Here are two of my cats. Lily is the white one. Channel Cat is the tabby. He is also the boss of the six indoor cats. He got his name because he was trapped on the rocks of the ship channel behind my house (channel cat is also a species of catfish).
This is Big Bad VooDoo Cat. He likes to lay in front of the stereo speakers when I crank up the heavy metal, the other cats run. He has never met a stranger and is a worse attention hog than most dogs.
These three were playing hide-n-seek around the new TV. ChiChi (or "Chia Cat") is the torti, Caesar (or "Waddles") is the fat Siamese (I think if I tied a Swiffer pad to his belly he would keep the floors clean), and Simon (or "Lumpy" - injuries as a kitten resulted in fat lumps under the skin of his back and sides, the fat protrudes from the body cavity).
Had her since she was one, she wasn't brought up very well, but has always been close to me, and to my delight she's really bonded with my partner since we've been together, never seen her so affectionate with someone else before!
She's a big gal, but have you ever tried exercising a reluctant cat?
