I've seen this pic on here time and time again. Even when I first viewed it back in 1974, I was still skeptical. Does anyone truly believe the Kenmore did that good of a job on the bibs with all of the laundry that was put in the washer (it appears the one that did the 2nd best job was the GE-second one to the right).
How many of us are old enough to remember the famous "Frigidaire vs Kenmore" commercial that debuted in 1977? I remember part of the voice over (the secret to getting clothes really clean is getting them to the bottom of the washer as often as possible.) A sock was placed on top of the agitating load of the Frigidaire and was taken right down. The sock on the agitating Kenmore, however, sat on the top of the load for a good period of time.
Too bad commercials like that can no longer be found.
