Well seeing that I have been signed off work for a week, due to a bad back, not great timing as i am having a new kitchen installed, but hey.. I thought what better time to have a quick quiz to test the old brain cells...Lets see what has been retained over the years.

Hy keith!great questions you posted. as i am still doing my thesis on the cultural history of the washing machine in germany and the uk from 1950-75 i would love to hear the answers! if you have any material in digital form to not hesitate to contact me - [email protected].

i spent a couple of weeks in london this february, if got all the reports in the which-magazine as well a plenty of ad's from the above mentioned period on photo. regards, markus
