I knew it!
Here I am, ready with model number scrawled on my green scrap of paper, logging in to answer appnut's question about what dishwasher am I using, when I saw yours was the last post.
I thought, "Dear Lord, Kelly's already told them for me!"
To be most specific, it's a GE GSD500X-66AW. If it's a model that can only be purchased by a contractor, then it probably ended up in my 1951 house because the shady son of the people we purchased it from who calls himself a contractor bought it for them We're still getting summons, calls from creditors and sheriff's deputies showing up on our doorstep looking for that kid!
So, one of the biggest obstacles is getting my beautiful harvest gold KA up the stairs, installed and working before Bruce comes home from work.
The stairs are the biggest obstacle. Of late, the stairs have declared war on me. So far it's stairs 2, Sarah 0. Anyone know how a girl can fall down four steps, scrape both elbows, one knee, earn a goose egg the size of a real goose's egg on the other shin, scrape the surface off of her right foot and bruise the left foot beyond walking?
My psychiatrist recommends that I stop carrying stuff up and down stairs. I didn't bother to tell him that carrying stuff is inevtable because I have to go up a flight of stairs just to get in my house. But probably single-handing a dishwasher up the stairs is a bit extreme. I rather expect my days of unloading side by side refrigerators and stacked washer/dryers from Budget rent-a-trucks may be over too. Probably just as well. I nearly crushed myself under the washer/dryer.
I know, I need to just pay someone to help and get it over with.
Kelly, oh, Kelly when are you coming to visit?
Sarah
