Premier range?

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

It looks more Roperish-Kenmore to me, but then I never saw a Premier range. Premier made vacuums and GE bought them out to have vacs. GE introduced gas dryers under the Premier label just in case they proved to be a disaster and because GE was only known for electric clothes dryers as were Westinghouse and Frigidaire, but all three companies added gas dryers to their lines. I think the Premier gas dryers proved such a success that the Premier name was only used a year or two at best before the gas dryers were sold under the GE name.

I think I remember seeing these 40" electric ranges in the mid-late 60's Sears catalog, so it's likely a Kenmore, or made by the same mfr., probably Roper. Unusual in that the controls are at the side. I bet lots of burned arms using this, especially if no room to stand to right to operate knobs. Speaking of Premier, my sister had a gas model (Avocado) in an old mobile home she lived in right after her first marriage.
