totally pinkberry

I love it. Lucky for you the former owner didn't find the Westinghouse slant-front dryer currently on Ebay and keep this one-- I think the Clampetts had a set of these pushbutton 'tags, but not in pink... have fun.

If I may, one day I might stop by and take a look and also meet you. In 1979 We bought a A608 washer from Mrs Sargent and later a electric d308 dryer from Mr Sargent. They are sure nice people...We ran them for years and when we sold our house the buyers wanted them. RIght now we have Neptune front loaders (samsung) which we like. I also have a older A806 in the garage waiting for water hookups. I would like to find a set from the 60's. Thanks for sharing your machine.

Catch me if you can...

Bendix5,

I'm almost always on the road. (one of the senior techs). The washer is on static display, so enjoy. One of a few units the business has on display. I was turned onto this site last week by another person visiting from the Bay Area and immediatly felt like I found kindred spirits here. I thought I was about the only one to get worked up about old appliances! Anyway, I wanted to share the Pink Lady with you all. Later I'll post some pictures of the amp set and a gas engine'd grey tub wringer we have here if you want. Also, if there's interest, I'll occasionally post pictures of any old and interesting things I come across and fix while on the road... You'd be surprised how many of the old thumpers and such there are around here due to the vast rural areas and older homes and people here. Wish I'd known of this site sooner as we had hauled off a older clean JetCone set in green with the windows not too long ago... I probably could have found a home for them...

By the way, I have access to plenty of older factory parts and service manuals for wringers forward... Just drop me a line and I'll see if I can help...

What's interesting to me is that cursive font they used on the button legends. I don't think I've seen that on any of the other 'Tag pics I've seen here.

Something tells me RCD is going to be a very popular guy here on A.W.!

I'm not a big fan of pink but must say that machine is absolutely stunning. Drew, you are in the right line of work, that's for sure.
