This stove looks interesting, but doesn't look as substantial as the older Westinghouse stoves. Looks like it needs cleaning, but $75 and a sense of humor from the seller. :-)

A similar model in white lives in John's basement. It is from 1966 or 67, I think. This is the one with the automatic thermal sensor on the left front element whereas John's has the stirring device operated by a magnet on that unit, I think.

Questions Please.  Is the lower of the 2 broiler elements removable?  Is the lower of the 2 broil elements also the bake element, that would be plugged into the bottom of the oven?  Was there a traditional looking broiler pan or..?

Westinghouse " No Turn Speed Broil "

The lower broil element is removable, it is only put in place when using this great feature. The bake element and the top broil elements are screwed in place in these ranges.

When using the NTSB feature an oven rack is placed between the two broiler elements and the 2nd oven rack is placed below the lower broiler element with some water to catch any grease that drips down. [ the water keeps the grease from overheating and catching fire, smoking etc ]

This feature works really well you have 6000 watts of broling power and do not have to turn over the food.

The Automatic stirer

Under the center of one unit was a motor wit a magnet attached to it, you set a pot on it and inserted a wire stirring device into the pot, the magnet made it turn.
