Sears (or Wards? one of the catalog merchandisers) sold this unit and a matching washer back in the day, presumably labeled for Kenmore.

Now and then those PS dryers show up on fleaPay. Like a host of similar units from the same period they are designed for those living in tight living quarters but wanted a washer and or dryer.
Yes, both the dryer and matching washing machine were also sold under the Kenmore brand. Our own Red Carpet Drew has a set.

Spotted! The smallest, oldest Kenmore portables I've ever seen
Across the street from our shop is another. He sells all used and specializes in Whirlpool and Kenmore. He has this portable roll around set there and they've got to be the oldest portables I've ever seen. I thought they were toys at first but after a closer look, they're real enough. Small,too...

The old man who lived next door when I was a kid had a Sunbeam lawn mower.
I could never warm up to the idea of an electric lawn mower. My experience with unruly garden hoses and extension cords put the kibosh on a corded mower.

We got a Sunbeam electric mower when I was about 10 or so. My dad's uncle had bought it, but then decided he would hire someone to mow for them, so he gave it to us.
I think I only cut the extension cord once. The cord didn't really get in the way, as the handle pivoted. When I got to one end of the yard, I pulled the handle back and continued mowing. I would start out nearest the outlet, and work my way across to the other side of the yard.
I usually only did the front yard with it, but sometimes the back. It worked well for about 4 or 5 years, until the motor burned out while mowing the back yard. We had a shed about 75' from the house, that had electric, and it was plugged in there. I think the wiring was too small, and there was a lot of voltage drop, causing the motor to overheat.
