That little ditty always conjures up visions of early refrigerators for me, of course one manfacturer's in particular. I wonder if Frigidaire gained market share as a result.
Here's one that's more along the lines of product replacement:
Sort of makes me think---"SkilSaw" is the name called to ANY portable hand held circular saw.And "Sawzall" to ANY recip saw.both Skil and Milwaukee don't like these practices.and another--"Dremel" tool for any hand held small die grinder tool.
French canadian songs... Not exactly product placement. Here Frigidaire is still used as SkilSaw or Sawzall... Not rare to see ads for appliances saying: "Un frigidaire Amana à vendre" (An Amana refrigerator for sale) or "Un frigidaire de marque Frigidaire" (A Frigidaire brand refrigerator)...
