Product recall for AEG, Electrolux and Zanussi dishwashers

There is a warning on the websites of these brands for newer dishwashers. A faulty component might lead to overheating or fire. Check your dishwasher on one of the sites. No dishwashers manufactured before June 2006 are affected. Here's the link to the Electrolux site.

Just checked if our Electrolux Insight was on the recall list. Thankfully all ok. We purchased it for when we moved in October 2006 so was concerned it would fall into the recall timing bracket. I remember though we purchased it from John lewis and it was reduced because it was the shop display model so it had probably been on display for some time so must have been made before June 06.
