I know that many of you here have more varied interests besides washers, dryers and dishwashers, as I have seen some really amazing and interesting things posted here.

I would like to offer everyone here first crack at a vintage 8MM projector from the 50's in excellent working order and in excellent shape.

This unit is currently available for local pickup in Valley Stream, NY as my sister is selling her home and this was left there when my parents moved to Arizona a few years ago.

I don't want to make a killing on it but would entertain any reasonable offer.
It can be shipped which will incur charges that the buy will have to pay. I have loads of bubble wrap so it should arrive in good shape!

Let me know via email and hopefully it will go to a new and loving home.

Pics of it to follow

Very nice. I just let a similar vintage Keystone projector go. It needed a part somewhere along the trail of the film's route from one reel to the other.

That's a very nice one Steve.

I sent you an E-mail with my offer.

This machine is a blast directly out of my past. I learned to operate it when I was around 8 years old, and my parents were so glad to be off-loaded of the chore that I was the family projectionist for the next 10 years until I went away to college.

Excellent machine. I have a Revere 85, it looks a lot like your Revere 80. I've never seen one of these that didn't work. It's gentle on film, the bulb is available and inexpensive, and the gate is easy to clean. I use a couple of drops of Marvel Mystery oil in the oiling holes once in a while. The only downside of this model is that it will not hold a 400 foot reel, it only holds 300 feet, and the rubber AC cord tends to rot. I've recomended this model to s few people with old regular 8mm home movies. There's a handful of them on eBay every week selling at very affordable prices.

Nice projector! I have enjoyed collecting Brownie cameras and related stuff for years and I think its one collection I will keep. Old photos go great with these too and of course the advertisements.here`s mine in our built in bookcase which I just finished drywalling. The paint and paper in this room will eventually change too!
