I went to use a spare hypo needle tonight from ones given to inject my B12 into my A407 tub bearing rubber boot, it still has the old style with the oil wick in it and I figured a little Zoom Spout couldnt hurt. Between the oil being too heavy to push out the needle tip and the tip bending while trying to push it into the rubber I need to find the proper heavy syringe for the task. I tried to find the post I saw of which one to get but couldnt spot it. Does anyone know, and is it something I can buy off Amazon and hopefully not buy by the dozens? Thanks.

"Redcarpetdrew" said in an old post he makes a slit with a knife (Exacto Knife probably) then inserts the Zoom Spout oiler tube through the hole.

You could probably use a syringe without the needle on as well.

He said it was more of a temporary measure to quiet a noisy bearing.

Got it thanks. I'll give it a try as a temp fix. Im gonna go through this once IM feeling better. I have a perfect trans out of a junk A806 plus I'll change the tub bearing and seal, and both bearings plus damper pads. I just replaced the belts because they were slipping badly.

When I did that to my Maytag I used veterinary hypodermic needles that I got on amazon like these in the link below.

I remember it worked reasonably well even at my souped-up 1050rpm Maytag.
