Customer complained of two issues: fan chattering on housing on left side (I accessed it and pushed it down) and poor cooling on right side.
I did witness fan running on right side when I accessed it, but wasn't able to get it to run continuously or figure out what factors must be in place for it to run. Maybe the thermistor has to sense the evap is cold enough for it to energize the fan. When it wasn't running, I wasn't getting a voltage drop at the connector, meaning that looks like the issue is more with power to the fan rather than the fan motor itself. There was no frost on the FF evap. There also seemed to be some sort of mildew issue on the FF fan insulation.
So I am curious about if the FR evap looks like a sealed system problem. Picture was after compressor was on for 30+ minutes but with cover off. A sealed system problem, like a leak, would explain the partial frost pattern on left side, no frost on right, fan not running because thermistor senses not cool enough.
