Usual question: anyone know what year this Philco ad is from?

That control panel looks awesome.

"Filters every drop of water in the tub every ten seconds"

Was that true, or just absurd marketeering?

WEll I am sure marketing play a role in the filtering quote, however I bet they were close.

I always wondered (and would love to have one) how did a Philo with blades of water agitator clean??? Some members have them, not many, perhaps they could share on cleaning ability as well.

I have a couple of the Philco Blades Of Water washers and they are excellent cleaners. They have rapid agitation with great turn over. The lint filter is in the centerpost similar to a Maytag and works in the same manner, with water flowing thru it from the swirling action of the agitator. It filters OK, but just OK. And like a Maytag, it filters very little if any on low water level.........
