Help Support :

its too bad the engines and boilers were removed-they could have been left in place but decomissioned.they are fascinating peices of equipment for technically minded folks.I like seeing those.Saw the boilers and engines, generators on a Battleship moored in Mobile,Alabama some years ago-also a Submarine named the "Drum" had all of its technical equipment on board.again on both ships those were decomissioned.

Poseiden

Yes,

They did a great homage to the Poseiden Adventure a little over a year ago. Ernest Borgnine, and several others (the director, singer of the theme song, etc.) were there and led a 90 minute discussion after the movie was shown. Lots of great stories were shared.

Many portions of the movie were filmed on the QM.
