I had your model Duet and had the same noise. It was not a loose screw, but rather a coin that had been left in my husband's jeans that had somehow worked its way to an inaccessible part of the drum.

Check each wash vane.  Is one or more loose?

This can also make that sound.  It is an easy fix.

will check this later but do not forget its an 11 year old washer and if there was something major that would break it would not be repaired but replace so please keep this in note and i already noted a replacement model and brand and its a topload washer f course and its the huebsch zwn432 model with matching electric dryer

First of all, congratulations!! I know you have been wanting to get rid of the Duet every since I have been on this forum.

Second. I had this happen with my Maytag (Duet Clone) recently after running a clean washer cycle.
What I found was that some calcium chips had broken loose and was trapped inside one of the paddles. After the next wash cycle the noise ended.
