Was just questioning myself, why Lever/Johnson Diversey still make Surf for vending size, but the Surf you find at the store is Sun Corp. Made?
I have stumbled across several lundromats having 1 load Lever made Surf powder packets, , and could also buy a stock online few years ago, I thought they were left over stocks, but nowadays they still are as common as they were.
Why? My supposition is that there were some sorts of agreements with Sun Corp, that now bought the brand with the exclusive for selling the stuff under domestic consumers destinations, while Lever can still market the stuff for commercial use, vending machines and laundromats are considered infact commercial istances.
Similarly to what happens here with Bio Presto Surf, You can still find italian lever Surf sold for commercial/institutional use, buf fhe domestic stuff, that kept the name Bio Presto is manufactured by Henkel....
Any thoughts? Certain info?
