Great site - very interesting information on controls and energy-use advancements. I found the recirculation of heated air back into the drying chamber very interesting. Huge savings of energy if circumstances will allow for it. Bendix used a similar concept in their first dryers back in the late 40's.

Thanks Sudsman, lots of useful info, they have kind of backed off the heat reclamation, and went for efficiency. Interesting about the variable drum speed for "lightweight" items. alr2903
