Ladies & Gentlemen: I am new to this forum; have been viewing it for some time. Just last late Dec '13, I bought an RK-60 via Craigslist here in the Albany, NY area.
A beast if ever there was one! I muscled it indoors and began a top-to-bottom clean/check. I lost the left rear (Thermizer) heating element. And this RK uses the thin-wound Radiantubes. Yes, you guessed it; I'm on the hunt for replacements and back-ups. I even went to the extreme of buying an RM-75 thinking it was compatible-not so. Found a defective right rear selector switch that was shorting out the breaker in that one. So, it's continue with the hunt for pre-1949 Radiantubes or go with the post 1949 monotubes.
Any help will be appreciated.

I think..

Your best bet is to hunt at old appliance stores/old Frigidaire dealers if you want the originals, but the 3 wire Radiantubes will work fine and are somewhat easier to find..

Tom, I have at least a couple of the 'thin-tube' Radiantube elements that may work for you. These are the ones on the left side of the picture. I have no idea which model they came from, unfortunately (they were purchased as part of a box lot) but they are still good.

If these might be what you are looking for, send me an email (my email is in my profile).

Hope this helps!
