Computer Problems....
Or you can try these....
(01). Upgrade the definitions of your Anti-Virus program, and keep your definitions updated at ALL times.
(02). Run your Anti-Virus Program AT LEAST once a day.
(03). Do you have another utility program (something like "Registry Booster" and/or "SpeedUpMyPC")??? What these do is unload/cleanup the unnecessary clutter off your hard disk, and repair any broken or fragmented registries on your hard disk. If you have these, or something similar on your computer, that would be a BIG help.
(04). I would also try cleaning off the "Cache" in your browser and see if that would help.
(05). Defrag your hard disk AT LEAST once a week.
(06). Check to see how much RAM is installed in your PC. If you have less than 1 GB of RAM, it's time to add more RAM to your PC. Adding RAM is NEVER a bad idea. You'll have a brand new computer that way (without investing in a new computer). Your computer will run a LOT faster if you do that.
(07). As other have already said on here, if you have any outdated drivers on your PC, I would update those drivers as well.
Now..... about Internet Explorer 8. I don't know what the deal is with Internet Explorer 8. It seems to me that when Internet Explorer 8 came out last year, after it was loaded onto my computer, it seems to me that Internet Explorer 8 takes a LOT LONGER to upload than the previous version did. So, if you are using that as your browser (and that may seem to be the problem), maybe that may be the culprit. After changing over to Internet Explorer 8 last year, I have since upgraded the RAM in my PC (for me personally, I went from 1 GB and maxed it out to 4 GB), it didn't make any difference with Internet Explorer 8. It's slow to upload no matter what.
Hope things get better with your PC after you do these. Good luck and let us know how things are going after that.
